Florida’s Clearwater Brewing celebrates grand opening with community leaders

Clearwater Brewing Co. officially opened its doors to the public on Thursday, August 14, with a vibrant Grand Opening celebration that brought together city officials, community members, and over 300 craft beer enthusiasts.

The event was marked by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector, who was joined by Assistant City Manager Al Battle and Pinellas County Commissioner Chris Latvala. Mayor Rector shared a few words about the importance of supporting local businesses and the positive impact Clearwater Brewing Company will have on the downtown community. He then cut the ribbon alongside Rob Menard, co-owner of the brewery, officially welcoming the establishment to the city.

Hyperbolic Brewing to open in former Hammered Lamb space

Hyperbolic Brewing Company, dedicated to crafting "traditionally decocted European lagers, fruited sours, IPAs, and premium barrel-aged ales" is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location at 1235 N. Orange Ave. by mid-2026.

The 10-barrel brewhouse and taproom will have a covered 1,000-square-foot outdoor seating area and will offer eats via a culinary partner who will sublease the kitchen, the brewery says.
